Welcome to Glenmar Sailing Association - Founded: 1947

Glenmar Sailing Association, is a time honored idea since 1947, invented by local sailors to maximize quality time on the Bay. For cruisers and racers alike, there is no sailing organization more active in the northern Chesapeake. Sort of a non-yacht club, we don't own real estate so cost are kept very low and there are no restrictions for membership. GSA has survived for 65 years due to its simplicity, the dedication of its volunteers, and the fun rewarding times experienced by its participants. Sailors stay for decades because membership in Glenmar, is cherished as "the greatest value in boating".
